This month’s featured blogger is Niamh from Niamh Kelly Style. The first kind of time I met/came across Niamh and her blog was after Belfast Fashion Week Charity Challenge. Niamh was actually one of the stylists for one of the charities, styling for the NI Hospice.
Niamh describes herself as a ‘Belfast based blogger with a serious shopping and beauty addiction’. As always those blogs and bloggers I share with you are always down to earth and the normal girl you can relate to and Niamh is definitely just that! I love reading her blog, seeing her posts and pictures on Twitter, Facebook and instagram. Her sense of style is an inspiration to me, and hey what girl doesn’t need some inspiration from time to time?! I like and definitely appreciate the truthfulness of her reviews and opinions, no point in telling someone that something is great and worth the money when it is not! I also love the fact that for me she is a local blogger, so what I see in her blog I will be able to get myself. As much as I love other bloggers who aren’t local it can be frustrating when you see something you are like ‘I MUST HAVE THAT’ to realise it will be a nightmare to try and get or find.
Luckily for me the lovely Niamh at the last min (I totally lost track of the days this month) was able to take part and complete my interview to share with you all. So a really big thank you Niamh, especially for getting back to me so quickly!
How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging for three years now.
What brought you to blogging?
I started blogging when I was on work placement at the BBC. I wanted to move more into fashion so I decided to set up my blog as an online portfolio.
How would you describe your blog?
My blog has an informal tone to it. I like to just be myself when writing it. That way my readers can relate more to it. It’s a mixture of fashion, beauty and the odd hot man!
What is your favourite thing about blogging?
My favourite part of blogging is how I can go into my own little world when I’m writing. My blog belongs to me and I take a lot of pride in it. It’s also great to meet up with other bloggers.
What inspires you as a blogger?
Everything inspires me. From a piece of art, a person’s style, a book etc. I prefer to take everything in when it comes to inspiration.
What has been your most popular post(s)?
My most popular link is about Lauren Conrad and her hair. I created this post within the first few weeks of blogging and it has remained a strong favourite ever since.
