Today both mum and I were off and we took my gorgeous little niece for the day. We thought we would do something different that wouldn’t cost a small fortune. Most places to take children are free for under 2’s but then the adult prices are ridiculous! Drawing a bit of a blank I asked other mums on Facebook, lots of options to chose from, however a lot she has already done over the last couple of weeks. Although there was one that caught my eye that I had seen people talk about but I hadn’t been to myself, Plant and Play Wildlife Garden in Bangor. Fantastic, it was close by, the little lady went free as she is under 2, for mum and I it was £3.50 each and a big bonus was that it was outdoors!
So what is Plant and Play Wildlife Garden?

There will be an on site shop where customers can purchase gardening and nature related second-hand books, seasonal plants and vegetables and (made-to-order) hand-carved unique garden furniture. I have to say the three of us had a total ball this morning! We would 100% recommend a trip to Plant and Play Wildlife Garden with your little ones. Everything was planned and provided for us, Vikki was fantastic! She made the learning fun and it was designed for every age and ability, today’s age ranges of children were 1 – 6. The children had loads of fun playing, learning and exploring both indoors and outdoors, from crafting to playing games on the grass area. Vikki was amazing with the children, our little lady just loved her, she has a great nature with the children and has them glued. I will definitely be heading back with my friends and their kids and the little lady loved it so much that her Granny is thinking of taking her again on Monday!
