Chocolate

After showing you on my weekend run down post about the range of miniature Truly Irresistible Fair-trade chocolate bars from The co-operative,  I thought it would only be right to show you the other bars in the range.

image

At the minute these are 59p each or 2 for £1.  In my local co-operative this is the range they had, all 40g in weight, but they do look different sizes.

First off is the 39% cocoa milk chocolate.

One of the thicker bars of chocolate it breaks into 6 pieces and Oh my word is so creamy, luxurious and melts in your mouth.

Next up is the 56% dark chocolate infused with orange oil.

image

Again one of the thicker bars splitting into 6 pieces.  I thought the orange would be really strong, hoping not too overpowering.  Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised, the chocolate was gorgeous and rich with just a subtle hint of orange from the orange oil infusion.

Mmm little blocks of chocolatey goodness!

This is the chocolate I shared with you on Sunday’s post, 34% cocoa milk chocolate from Ghana with Toffee and Red Himalayan Salt.

This bar isn’t as thick, still the same weight, so you’re still getting the same amount. This bar breaks into 8 pieces and the Toffee and salt just adds to the chocolate taste rather than over powering it.

Finally is the 85% cocoa dark chocolate bar.

For all you bitter chocolate lovers this one is for you.  For me I have to admit this one is just too bitter for me, however Dad (who prefers dark chocolate) loved it, found it really rich and delicious.

There you go a range of Fair-trade chocolates when will suit any chocolate lover, milk or dark.  A little sample of luxury for a fraction of the price so why not head down to your co-operative and pick up some for yourself this weekend? Xx
