You might have noticed I’ve been a little AWOL this week, it’s half term so no work and plenty of time to spend with friends and family. So far I’ve had a fun filled week catching up with friends, lunch dates, play dates with my niece, daddy-daughter dates and chill out time with mum. Alongside all that I’ve been off adventuring with Mr L.
We spent Wednesday on a random road trip which had us ending up in County Down, in and around the Mourne Mountains.
Pulling up at Tyrella Beach we parked alongside this pretty view and it was picnic time, or as my niece calls it ‘a food party’.
It was more of a car picnic/food party as it was pretty dam cold outside, never mind the deceiving sunlight and blue skies.
Tyrella Beach is one of my favourite places!
Just look how stunning the views were, this photo I can’t credit for, this is Mr L’s.
Check out the drift wood I found on Tyrella Beach, no idea what I’m going to do with it, but I’m going to craft something.
As the sun started to set and night kicked in we headed off into the mountains to the Silent Valley and Spelga Dam
The snow was still lying all over the mountains and around the Dam
Videoing my way down the gravel path
Had the perfect day! 100% chilled up the mournes and Tyrella beach!!!
Nothing beats a day of adventuring, especially when it ends up with our feet up by an open fire! And did you know my blog instagram is up and running properly now, thanks to instagram introducing the dual accounts, so if you haven’t already followed me click the link below and do it!
Please & thank you!
